評判がよく、アンコールがなされた。Leva(1820-1869)について詳細は
不明だが、Valdengoがその作品"Canta il mare"を録音している。

比較的著名のようで、1910年の新作"La Dorise"の初演にはCroizaが
参加している。

Nov. 10 Ruggero Leoncavallo : Zaza(World Premiere)＊この公演で主役を歌ったのがＲｏｓｉｎａ Ｓｔｏｌｋｉｏ。
後に子供をもうけるまでのまでの関係となる。

Borgattiの病気のため、プッチーニに変更となった。
２７歳のEnrico Carusoが、ロドルフォでスカラ座へのデビューを果たした。１月２７日にヴェルディが亡くなり、２月１日には７つのオペラの抜粋を
取り上げた追悼コンサートが開かれた。ボイートではFeodor Chaliapinがスカラ座デビューした。

パルシファルは演奏会形式による上演。
最終公演の「仮面舞踏会」（４/14）ではアンコールをめぐり
聴衆と対立、第１幕でキャンセルし、続きをSormaniにまかせた。
これをきっかけにスカラを辞任し、1906年まで遠ざかる。
Smareglia(1854〜1929)の新作は3幕からなる"Commedia Fantastica"。
